NCLA Beauty debuted in 2010 with a small collection of products that developed into an award-winning, cult favorite beauty line of lip care, nail care, body care, and more. Sisters, Elin and Anh-Thu Dannerstedt founded NCLA Beauty to create a destination of products that is truly clean and innovative while staying colorful and cheeky. With originality and sensoriality at the core, NCLA Beauty’s products combine effectiveness with amazing scents and textures. The cruelty-free line is always made in the USA with clean, vegan ingredients. Elin
DANNERSTEDT
Elin is half Swedish, half Vietnamese, and was born and raised in Brussels, Belgium. From a young age, Elin knew her passion lied in art and design. At the age of 16, her and her family immigrated to Southern California. It didn’t take long for Elin to fall in love with the so-cal lifestyle. The perfect weather, the healthy lifestyle, and the California cool vibes is something that still inspires her to this day and is the foundation for NCLA Beauty. Elin graduated FIDM with a degree in product development. As CEO of NCLA Beauty, Elin oversees product development, sales teams, and PR. Elin lives in Los Angeles and spends her free time at the beach or hiking!
Anh-Thu
DANNERSTEDT
Anh-Thu is also half Swedish, half Vietnamese, and was born in Brussels, Belgium. She immigrated to the US at the age of 5 and grew up in Southern California. Anh-Thu is fluent in English, French, and Spanish! She started at NCLA Beauty during her senior year of high school, helping pack orders and run errands. Today, Anh-Thu is our COO and co-owner. She oversees production, operations, staff, and influencer relations. Anh-Thu also works closely with Elin for product development and feels passionate about keeping customers engaged and excited about new products. Anh-Thu lives in Los Angeles and brings her sweet labrador retriever Nala to work every day!
