On the Scene: NCLA at the Joyrich x Snoop Dogg L.A. Fashion Show

What's up fam, it’s Allie + Sophie!

Saturday was one for the books — NCLA designed custom nail wraps applied by one of the hottest celebrity manicurists in the game, Naomi Yasuda *and* got exclusive BTS access to the Joyrich x Snoop Dogg fashion show hosted by MADE LA on the LA Live Event Deck (!!!)

The 2017 MADE fashion show lasted for only 2 hot seconds (June 9 + 10), boasting some pretty big players in the streetwear and rap game - Opening Ceremony x Rza of Wu-Tang, Joyrich x Snoop and 424 + Pleasures x Wiz Khalifa. Each runway show was infused with each rappers eclectic style, in addition to some of the most amazing stages we’ve ever seen.

Celebrating their 10 year anniversary (that’s like, A LOT in fashion years) Joyrich teamed up with Snoop Dogg’s son, Cordell to create a capsule collection inspired by his pops for an early Father’s Day gift. Umm, #GOALS.

Snoop opened his set + fashion show with the iconic hit, “Next Episode” to get everybody hyped. I heard through the grapevine (AKA the interweb) that Cordell “wanted to create a fun, backyard BBQ vibe - one big Snoop Dogg family party” and that’s exactly what they delivered. The stage was set with multiple low riders, legit road signs, and enough vibes to last us a lifetime.

Afterwards, Soph and I paraded around the mini booths, in search of celebrities and free food. All day we were snapping under cover pics of Shaun Ross and Rola, but finally ran into her after the show and while Sophie fangirled so hard, she eventually pulled it together to get a pic.

The day was over in a blink of an eye, but don’t worry, we’ve got plenty of pics to continuously post on our Instas for all the upcoming #TBT’s - worth it. Thanks again to the Joyrich x Snoop Dogg crew for having us, as well as Naomi for nailing the mani’s - we couldn’t have done it without you!

Until next time ✌🏼
